HENTY SAND DUNES - GUIDED TOUR

Tours depart from the Henty Sand Dunes picnic area, just 10 minutes from the centre of Strahan along the B27 highway to Zeehan. The Henty Sand Dunes are the largest moving dune system in Tasmania. The amazing beauty and shear size of the dunes will astound you as you follow your guide, taking in the spectacular views of the “Roaring 40’s” and the coast line of the Wild West Coast. There are plenty of opportunities for photos along the way. The ride would suit the novice and experienced rider.

TEEPOOKANA HUON PINE RAINFOREST - GUIDED TOUR

(This tour must be prebooked at least 2 weeks in advance because we need to book a train for that day).

Your journey through the lost and timeless world that is the Teepookana Plateau, begins at the Regatta Point Train Station. Where you will board a train that will take you along the King River to Lower Landing, at which point you will start to ride your motorbikes. Winding our way through ancient Rainforest that has been in place for thousands of years. We will see logging sites, a lookout tower, an old Piners hut whilst travelling along old logging roads that rarely if ever get used. This tour is not suitable for the beginners, previous experience on a 4 wheel motorbike is a must (The Sand Dune Tour). Sturdy footwear as well as trousers and a long sleeve top are a requirement. It will get muddy in places so do not wear your Sunday best.
